LONDON UNDERCURRENTS
I've seen the rules being broken and many laws being scorned
I've seen policewomen smiling at the sinners in the street
I've seen the sinners empowered getting drunk in the underground
I've felt the smell left behind of sour vinegar and chips
I've seen the buskers smoking where busking is forbidden
and the smokers smoking opium, marihuana
I've seen dark alleys, derelict buildings, where the trendies hide
I've seen freaks in rubber outfits queuing to get to the queue
I've seen the fashions evolve, hard core porn in the arts center
I've seen black amorphous objects coming out of Waitrose bags
I've seen men enjoying sex in the company of strangers
I've seen strangers full of angst seeking the company of women
I've seen the women exposing their shaved vaginas for free
I've seen ghastly wounds and piercings that only Velcro can close
I've seen trannies short of cash moaning in the supermarket
I've seen grannies feeding mice in the dirtiest of stations
I've seen the press getting shocked by the deeds of their granddaughters
I've seen but I have not heard the girl's love talk to her boyfriend
I've heard instead more than once the blue haired boy's mobile phone
I've seen some scurrilous creatures driving the buses at night
I've seen churches being raided and the good morals decline
I've seen new rules being added to the list of senseless crimes
I've seen good looking policemen winking at poofs in the parks
I've seen the rules being broken and many laws being scorned
